The AMS 08+ WRX STI Small Battery Tray allows you to replace the heavy factory battery and mount with a lightweight race battery mounted on its side. The tray is tig welded by hand using high grade aluminum and the battery is topped off with a CNC'd AMS tie down plate.

All factory mounting points are used making installation simple. This very easy to install piece will allow you to remove you heavy stock battery and mount a lightweight race battery on its side to not only lower the overall weight of the car but also lower the center of gravity.
